Volution shares were swept higher after the extractor fan maker posted a better than expected trading update with booming demand for its ventilation products during the pandemic.
At the company’s annual general meeting yesterday bosses said that sales were up nearly 7 per cent over the past four months compared with the same period last year.
Even before the coronavirus struck there had been a noticeable increase in the number of people and businesses looking to improve the air quality in their homes and offices. The pandemic has accelerated this shift in thinking, Volution said.
